St. Athanasius Tutoring Academy
(Mondays 6:00pm - 8:00pm)
This beautiful initiative driven by The Apostolic Youth is set to begin on Monday 7th February of 2022 with the aim of helping our school-aged children achieve their academic goals by providing a comfortable and supportive church environment where they are able to work and study together. Supervised and run by the youth of our church, the program hopes to utilise the youth’s collective experience in the Victorian school system to assist children with achieving their academic and career goals.

Seniors Club
(Thursdays 10:00am - 3:00pm)
The St. Athanasius Seniors Club is a fantastic program run by the church for the elders in our community. Our seniors meet weekly on Thursdays for fellowship to socialise and enjoy each other’s company. There are also regular outings and trips organised for our members to enjoy.

Youth Meeting
(Fridays 7:30pm - 11:00pm)
The Apostolic Youth is the active and vibrant youth group of St. Athanasius Coptic Orthodox Church. The weekly youth meeting is held at church on Fridays from 7:30pm, followed by fellowship and activities. Aside from this, they host a variety of other activities and services throughout the year.

Sunday School
(Saturdays 4:30pm - 6:00pm)
Our vibrant Sunday School service runs on Saturday afternoons. This service is provided by qualified servants for children of all ages ranging from from pre-schoolers to Year 12 students. Our aim is to provide our children with social and spiritual nourishment through a high quality Christian education.

Hymns Lesson
(Sundays 12:00pm - 1:00pm)
Every Sunday our head deacons run a hymns (alhan) lesson for our deacons and congregation. Open to all, this offers a fantastic opportunity for members of the church to learn and practice the Coptic Orthodox Church’s annual and seasonal tunes, hymns and the ancient Coptic language.
