Discipleship Sign-Up.
With God’s grace we will be commencing Discipleship at St. Athanasius Church from 5th March, 2022. This course will be structured around 4 major themes: Bible, Church History, Theology and Miscellaneous topics. The course will be designed to run over a year, with placements in Sunday School to commence at the 6-month mark. You will also be allocated a buddy servant who will also mentor and supervise you throughout the program. The aim will be that by the end of 2022 you will be qualified to begin serving in the Coptic church.
Commitment and attendance will be paramount. To successfully complete the course you will be required to have >80% attendance (unless there are extenuating circumstances). This will be the main form of assessment, along with the possibility of one or two assignments throughout the year. This way, the church can be confident that the servants it produces are serious, committed servants of Christ.

Saturdays, 6:00pm - 7:00pm
